i have emailed john lewis they told me they are not going to restock the neon nintendo switch as they told me they removed the stock code for it in the email they sent me as they are not geting new stock for it but they said they have new stock on the way for the grey and the animal crossing edition and this was on the 14/05/2020

its only the neon one they said they are not expecting stock for but the grey and animal crossing they are but they said they are not expecting the neon so it still might come in the future

Same. Managed to add to my basket and enter my details within 1minute of getting notification, then when it comes to payment it says out of stock. When I go to the page and refresh it'll switch between saying "3 in stock online" and just the general "add to basket" but whenever you press the add to basket either times, it'll say there's been a technical problem.

It seems like the next best options are Currys, who apparently have a large order of the grey coming in (~1200 units) that should be up within the next few days, or Smyths Toys, who are expecting stock sometime in May. It seems it's wise to create an account beforehand and have your details already entered so as soon as it becomes available you can just add to basket and pay straight away.

The only way I managed to get mine was with google Chrome push notifications. It came through waaaay before the website notified of new stock. If I had waited for the website I would have missed it!! 10/10 recommend setting up Chrome instant push notifications

Game****** have them in stock now, not featured on stockinformer. They are all bundles for £399 with two games but I. Stock nonetheless

I think Game have had stock for a while, but only from Third Party sellers which is why they're in bundles and priced in ridiculously amounts, £400-600.

it is expensive though as can get a bundle for £320 or £330 then buy the other game for £45 so like £25 more and have no animal crossing games included

Game weren't showing stock today, they weren't listing at all but are currently. Yep ever so slightly.more than some sites but not a complete rip off. And if you're desperate enough for one that you're discussing stock on a stock notification site, I'd say it's a reasonable deal.

It seemed to have gone so quickly. I was refreshing for a while as none were showing in stock then suddenly 1 showed in stock and when I was about to add it to my cart it was gone

I did not even get a notification from Stockinformer regarding. Alot of times I don’t get from them, have to keep manually checking. All notifications turned on too 🤔

I find having the alarm enabled seems to help me massively - it seem to be the best/quickest alert system on the website. Saying that, the alarm didn't go off for some reason for this update but the stock seemed to have vanished almost as quickly as it was available so it probably wouldn't have made a difference.

The alarm only works on a desktop not mobile. Stockinformer need to fix a bug in their system as not only myself do not get all the alerts (all registered users)

It explains why they don't send notifications for all their stock alerts in their FAQ: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Stock Informer has detected stock but didn't send any emails or push notifications, why not? Although our systems can automatically send notifications when stock is found, on occasions we may decide to review each stock detection on a case by case basis before sending notifications . The reason for this is that if a retailer only has a few units of stock available,there is little point in sending thousands of notifications as by the time people receive and read them the stock will be sold out and gone (especially emails). This just wastes everyones time and adds further frustration. People who use the loud audible alerts option and opted in to the "Full" Push Notifications will always be the first to know about stock and very often snap up a few units of stock before anyone else." ------------------------------------------------------------This seemed to be one of those cases where only a few units were available so notifications weren't sent out.

...and in this case there was only 1 Unit for sale (probably a return marked back into the system), so no point sending out a notification.

bumblebee210 - There is no bug to fix. Please read the sticky post at the top and the FAQs. Completely pointless sending tens of thousands of notifications for 1 unit of stock! Users who opted into the "Full" Push Notifications were sent alerts and most desktop alarms would have gone off. Trust me thousands of people clicked through for that John Lewis alert earlier.
