The Nintendo Switch Lite is basically a shrunken down version of the original Nintendo Switch games console that's a handheld device only. A few inches smaller than its predecessor, there are no joy-cons but an additional D-Pad controller. With an upgraded processor it's also more energy-efficient and powerful.
