Well I'm still waiting for a dispatch email. Orderered on the 11th. Spoke to Curry's multiple times since then, every time they've just told me to wait as there is 0 stock available. Be interesting to see if anyone who managed to get one recently have received theirs.. but I imagine everyone is in the same situation.

Literally same here mate, they told me last week they have 12 left in stock and I was going to be allocated one - yet still no dispatch email and every time I call literally told to wait and that the email is coming. It's a joke, think the best bet is to hope somewhere else comes in stock.

Absolute joke of a company. How can they take £90 off you for something they don't even have. And then not even contact you to let you know "Oh by the way, we don't have in stock, so this is technically a pre order... that may never arrive... Feel free to cancel your items"... Nope! I've just bought one on eBay for £20 more. Fed up of waiting around! Cancelling with Currys now.

The stock under the item description periodically changes - but everytime this has happened and my order has gone from on hold to in progress- the result is the same. There is no stock. The only thing you should take note of is whether it states ‘dispatched’ because if it doesn’t, then nothing will happen.

Ordered and paid for mine on 11th November. Nothing since the order confirmation so rang yesterday only to be told they have no stock and don't know if they will be getting any. Had I not rung I would have been none the wiser. Furious they haven't contacted me to tell me and Ive wasted time sourcing another!!! Beware if your order went through as you wont be getting one in the immediate future.

I've been constantly looking at the Currys page since launch day of the PS5 in the UK. The headset regularly comes in and out of stock but it never lets me add it to the basket. Always gives me an error. Even if you can get an order in apparently they don't actually have any stock judging by other comments so will be interesting to see how quickly yours arrives. Hopefully GAME get stock soon.

Cancelled my order with Curry's, id rather wait weeks waiting for stock somewhere than to deal with the absolute shambles of a company that give 0 communication and lie, they couldn't sell a beer to a f***ing alcoholic! first call they said it would be with me by 5pm, 2nd call they said it was never sent and is delayed, 3rd time lucky they said they put my order on hold as they never received the payment when it left my account 2 weeks ago!! good luck guys I am so glad I didn't order my console through these jobsworths.

'No specified intake' basically means they could have stock in tomorrow or next week or next year. But someone in product must know, but it isn't communicated (probably because there's no one to create a consistent message). They should give their customers a timeframe. I dont believe they dont know when stock will return. They dont need to commit to a date. The other issue is - how many of us are waiting? If it's say 500 and the next stock will only be fore 200 - then you can see the obvious issue.

In the past few days the 3D Pulse (and the charger) order I made has gone from received to confirmed to on hold to in progress and now back to on hold. I'm sticking with the order, both items have already been added to MY PLAN. I'm not in a mad rush for either of them - but wish there was consistency with messaging. Especially as the website contradicts the support given by their Twitter account. But alas, the last thing they said was that there is no stock. I will update this post (reply to it) if and when the order got to dispatched. Perhaps hopefully in the next week or so. Good luck to anyone else that ordered the same day I did (11th November). Let me know if yours gets dispatched. Ta.

Now my order is progressing - so they can fulfil my order - they might update the site today or tomorrow with new online availability again.

At this point, it’s hard to believe anything. My account went back to HOLD and then back to IN PROGRESS. Support are claiming there is no stock. Literally no idea.

I had the same issue as a few have had below, ordered from Currys last week, no update since then. I spoke to customer service last night and they wanted to cancel my order. Then they told me to wait until today as this was the 'expected delivery date'. Today I contacted them again, and this time they told me they have just got new stock in, i've been assigned one, and i'll be sent a dispatch email "in a few hours". My 3D Pulse and Charger online stated confirmed a few days back after ordering when they clearly had them 'in stock and online'. Then got the delayed email, order went back to received. Was told by Support that I could opt to cancel or wait for new stock. I opted to wait. But yesterday, they went back to confirmed again. Same thing happened with my PS5 which I ordered on the 26th - but apparently this has more to do with their confusing email comms and system. It would be a nice end to the drama if all 3 items had a dispatch email(s) sent at some point today.

I just contacted them and asked why my order hadn't been dispatched yet. They told me the order "has failed internally and you need to cancel" even though my order on my account states "Confirmed". I suggested i'll wait until today.. Nothing arrived obviously. Contacted them again and they told me they've managed to allocate me a headset... I now have two headsets "confirmed" orders on my account 🤔 ... So maybe i'll recieve two? 😂 Only been charged for one! I got an "Exchange confirmation" email about an hour after the chat too.

Currys is an absolute disgrace! I too ordered a PS5 Pulse 3D Headset along with the dual docking charger for the controllers. I got an email to say the charger was on the way (and that arrived) and that they will let me know about the headset. Then not heard anything further, phoned and waited for 20 minutes on hold to be told they do not have the headset in stock and that they should have more on Sunday so will probably get it today. Called today to be told none in stock and unclear when they are going to get any. HOWEVER they are more than happy to take the payment! So annoying, no communication and when I ask for an email address so I can complain, they say I have to write to their head office!!! Oh ok, so got to pay for postage now too. This will be the last time I use Currys, as they blatantly lied about having the stock and they have seriously messed up their order quantities. EVEN MORE ANNOYING IS THE FACT I IGNORED ALERTS FROM AMAZON AND GAME AS I RELIED ON CURRYS TO BE HONEST! Now I am hoping this fantastic site (that has given great help in ordering the other PS5 items) let's us all know asap when the Pulse headset becomes available anywhere else, so I can get it and cancel the Currys order! Sigh - Sorry for the rant but frustrating when you get your hopes up! Roll on Thursday - fingers crossed no hassle from GAME.

I dont want to call them because I dont want to be told information (like yourself) that has no depth of truth in it.

Managed to speak to Currys. To echo what's been said already - they don't know when stock will be available again. That's not to say they wont have any soon but for anyone wanting the headset or the charger ASAP - look elsewhere. I've opted to wait as it's not super important for me to have the items (as I have a working set of Sony headphones that will do fine for now).

Exact same issue! Why out they have stock when clearly they don’t! Luckily I’ve ordered it for myself for Xmas so in no rush but I wanted to grab one before they became non existent around Christmas. My friend order his off Amazon after me and got it next day delivery but I don’t want to cancel it just in case! I may wait until Amazon have more, order it again and then cancel. Like you said though, they’re quick to get your money!!

I too am in the same boat as you lot. It's disgraceful that they have taken orders that they do not have and also take payment. That's dishonest work. I just got off the call to them and the woman was completely useless, was talking straight out of her arse. There's no indication of when we are ever going to receive them. My advice is to keep your options open and checking stock with other retailers and then if you are lucky to snap one up, cancel your order with Currys. Good luck to you all.

Absolutely disgusted by Currys. I ordered the headset on the 29th October, with a promise of next day delivery. It suddenly changed to an estimated delivery on the 5th November after I paid for it. During that week I found it strange when I didn't receive any updates about delivery / dispatch. Called them up on the 4th November (on hold for 40 minutes) to be told that they were out of stock but were getting stock on the 5th, so after processing, by the weekend at the latest mine would be acknowledged and shipped out. Still nothing. Waited till midweek. Called again (on hold for 30 minutes). Got through to an agent, they ummed and ahhed and said it was all strange, then wanted to put me on hold while they 'checked out the stock situation'. Phone immediately disconnected after I was put on hold. I was sop**sed off that I refused to call back and wait another 30 minutes. Finally called back again today to get an update ... any update on what is going on. Another 30 minute wait to be told more nonsense about stock being out, but they had them now, so mine would be delivered this week. But on the 'off chance it doesn't' to call them back. That was the final straw - I let rip at the amount of time I've been on hold the past few weeks and the shoddy customer service and lack of updates. You can't just hold my money if you genuinely do not know when the stock will arrive. She promised (again) that they had the stock assigned and that it would be delivered this week. She agreed to make a note on my account and I will get an email update this week regardless of the situation as I refused to call them back. So disgusted by how they have handled this.

If a company gives a date, they should stick to that date, or in the event that they can't, PROVIDE AN UPDATE TO THE CUSTOMER. It's not that difficult. They took the money, oversold their stock, and are now scrambling to get more stock. Please don't support companies in this nonsense, it makes you look like a tool.

I have pre ordered from Currys on 16 October. Everything seemed to be on time, but then my headset was not dispatched. After 35 min on hold, I managed to get through; only to be told that my headset is not in stock and will not be delivered. No communication, no updates and money taken in advance. Really annoyed. Requested a refund and managed to bag one with Game instead. I will defo avoid currys going forward.

Hi Spooky, yep after confirmation email, order processing email, then delivery delayed we will call you email. They have not called but i have spoke to them on live chat and called them. Once told 24 - 48 hours, then 4-5 days then today on the phone they said they have forwarded order to supplier but have no ETA for when they will have stock. Payment showed on my cr*dit card this morning before item dispatched or even any idea when they can do this. Definately will not be ordering a console from them when they get their "launch day stock" as it seems they had the headset "in stock" and sold it to us but never actually had it in first place. I will keep the order open with them as i dont think anywhere else has it in stock either.

Maybe it is generic message. Interesting they said there would be a delay but they were still selling. I think it’s coming direct from supplier not via pc world / curries warehouse.

Spoke to currys, seems they pass the orders onto external supplier so they are not coming from their own stock. They have advised 4 - 5 days for delivery, even tho they let me choose delivery for tomorrow. Could be worse but i was hoping to stare at it for a week before i try to get a PS5 on launch stock.

I choose 3-5 days for delivery, still got the delay email. But this might mean they will simply take 6 or 7 days to deliver. Which is fine. But also just might be clumsy automated comms.

Managed to place an order... although have since received an email to say... “Delivery has been delayed” Guessing it’s because it’s a preorder, hopefully should still be delivered before the console is released.

Ordered at 11.10 exactly the same. Got email through at 11.20 about delay. I have had delivery confirmation about charging docks though, that seemed to be ok!

I also ordered (along with the charging station) and got the 'delivery is delayed, someone will call you' - but this tends to be automated emails set up in the system triggered by the purchase. Standard misdirection. I got the 'delayed delivery email' at 11:29.

Also - worth noting - that the time is 12:41 now and both the charger and 3D Pulse are still available to purchase. So it isn't a stock issue.

The experience of ordering the headset yesterday and then being told its delayed with no real ETA is putting me off using them to try and secure a console at launch. I think i will try John Lewis, Game etc instead.

There has been no process like the PS5 consoles. They have shown pre-orders directly on the website.
