Every time I get this alert I click add to basket and it says my basket is empty, is there something I'm doing wrong or is it just selling out that quickly? Is there anything I can do or do I just need to keep trying?

Probably just the odd one coming into stock, and because thousands of people are on the same page, it probably takes them a while to update it

Don't panic though, I managed to get one this morning at 9:20, it was in stock for 14 minutes which is quite rare, so they must be getting a lot in. I'd just keep your notifications turned on It took me 10 days, to finally order one, but just keep trying! I was shocked when I found out thousands of people are trying to get one?!

They haven’t got stock at the moment every order I have seen says in stock on June 12th (2 weeks away) so arriving on the 16th with standard free shipping sounds about right the date is 13th/14th with amazon prime. Amazon are pretty good with their dates of delivery. But that doesn’t mean that if they do get stock before then that they won’t start shipping them out earlier. If they do you will obviously get a dispatch email.

ordered 29th may, just got it today. my advice: keep chrome push notifications on, be FAST, and just don't give up! it took me about 10 days. most of the time when a notification came in, when i tried to add it to my basket it said 'basket empty'. it's frustrating, but keep pushing through! thank you stockinformer!

Same, out for delivery at the moment so should be here today. The chrome notification came way before the alarm sound for me, and I was already logged into amazon so checked out straight away

Managed to get one just now. I was actually just about to give up because it would never let me add it to my basket but this time I had an auto-refresh chrome extension on amazon and was checking the page every minute. I've been trying for two weeks almost, feel so relieved now. I hope everyone here manages to get one, they seem to be in stock a lot more often now so hopefully you won't have to wait much longer

probably just the odd one coming in stock. You can usually tell if that's the case if it only lasts for 4 minutes. As when I bought mine this morning they were in stock for 15 minutes keep trying it took me 10 days and it's arriving on the 9th june.

Got one! After many days of trying, I finally got the lucky click. Have had so many false alarms on Amazon where it says it is in stock but I couldn't add it to my basket. I had an auto-refresh chrome extension on amazon that was updating the page every minute (saw this tip on the thread here) and switching between my work email and Amazon every so often and just got lucky. Keep trying everyone you'll get there in the end!

Mine says 16th. We were a very low tech family before lockdown. A 12 year old computer and a 6 year old low spec iPAD. My son hasn't been able to play the games his friends are on so he will be delighted to get this. Our tv is so old, from the days before flat screen so it will be used as a handheld until that is updated.

They changed the arrival date to 2nd June. I ordered that 31may 00:09am. the first date was 13 June - changed 10 June and finally 2 June. welldone amazon! my son's birthday is 3rd June so it will be great present for him. thank you so much stockinformer!!!!!!!

probably just the odd one coming in, when i ordered mine the stock lasted for 15 minutes (Which is rare, so it must mean they had a lot in stock) keep trying though guys, it took me 10 days in the end ! stay safe

Ordered at 00:14 on 31st of May thanks to a stock alert. Originally quoted delivery between 13/5 and 14/5, but it's now showing delivery on the 3/5. Looking forward to receiving it, and thanks to Stock Informer. 👍 I'd run into the issue of being unable to add the item to basket, and just wanted to share what ended up working for me. I've noticed a pattern of Stock Informer showing Amazon as having a given version of the Switch in then out then in then out of stock in pretty quick succession. Having seen the stock notification and being unable to add the item, I went to the product page on the iOS Amazon app and spent the next 5/10 minutes clicking the add to basket button, clearing the error message, and trying to add the item again. It didn't require my attention, I was actually in the middle of watching a film and just was doing it mindlessly. Eventually it added and I was able to checkout. Hope that helps someone else!

I ordered mine at 9:20 (20.5.31), with the help of stock alert as well (thank you very much). Mine was originally going to be mine on the 14th of June, it was then the 10th and I received an email yesterday noon, saying 5th June now. That means Friday, only 3 days to go !! Stay safe.

The stores who didn't get their greys yet will probably get stock in the next few days. After that rumous say it will be a month for the greys again. It seems that Nintendo sends big shipments once per month - and red/blue ones come with 15 days (half a month) difference from greys. That's what I gather. In other words, if that was it, there should be more neon blue/red halfway through the month

to add onto this, when I ordered mine the stock lasted for 15 minutes on Amazon, which is quite rare to see nowadays, so I think once a month they get a large stock, and the days before and after they have the odd few come in
