Ordered this morning at 8.25am and chose next day delivery. Recieved a processing email at 8.29am. Seen a few people sceptical so was a little worried. But just recieved my delivery notice email with tracking number! So keep an eye out for any other restock and just be quick.

Woke early to check stock, bought switch with Currys and even got a processing email. 4 hours later it's canceled. 5-7 working days to cancel a payment with Currys means effectively I just threw some money into the wind for the hell of it.... Why does it take so long to just cancel/ reject the payment so my bank takes it back? Why Currys, WHY?

Absolutely gutted. Bought this, this morning at around 8:40 with some games and insurance too and get a cancellation email four hours later. Rang, up to find out from the guy that basically cause I didn't pay the extra fiver for next day delivery and cause they oversold that they cancelled mine despite the fact my order for nearly £400 and cause I thought I was deffo getting this one I cancelled the one I had ordered elsewhere Sad anyone else had the same situation.

Yeah thats the annoying thing as I said on the phone but the guy literally said that why they cancelled mine cause I didn't spend an extra fiver on delivery despite the fact I bought a load of games, accessories and insurance with them and basically now I have to wait 5-7 working days till I actually get my money back too.... tempted to just give up and get the switch lite now especially since I order animal crossing and the wither 3 elsewhere because they had no stock so I'm going to get two games by Wednesday but nothing to play on, feels like wasted money.

Neither did I. I rang curry’s (was on hold for two hours) and the guy I spoke to basically shrugged it off and basically said even if we ordered before others cause we didn’t pay extra for next day that’s why ours got cancelled which is completely wrong!

guys if you're feeling stressed listen to my situation and laugh at me😂 - I ordered mine around 9, and I was in a rush so I quickly put my details in - I PUT THE WRONG EMAIL - the address and name was right - I chose next day delivery so seeing everyone say that theirs have been despatched has made me optimistic but now I literally have to wait for tomorrow to see if it comes. I ordered games separately so I have to open the door im just hoping it will be two boxes and not just games.

I ordered mine at 8:41am and paid extra £5 for next day delivery. Seperately bought 4 games and paid £5 again for next day delivery. Had both emails confirming dispatched, but DPD doesnt have any details on the console, just the games, which are due to me in about 45 minutes!

Live chat has confirmed that my order has gone through and I will receive it at some point but they were unable to tell me when. They said “your order is being process and DPD is currently awaiting your order to deliver. Please not there are delays regarding delivery due to limited staff members during this difficult time.”. And no, no offer of delivery fee refund and I bet if I asked they’d claim it wasn’t their fault. It really doesn’t make sense how your games are on the way but your switch isn’t, if they don’t have many staff surely less trips to the same place make more sense! I don’t know anymore.

When I rang up yesterday to enquire about my order the guy on the phone told me that they had oversold by 400 devices and that some deliveries probably will have an empty box cause of the computer not recognising that they oversold stock. Good Luck everyone

so, update from my chat with John.... Refunded me my £5 delivery charge. Apologised profusely for the long wait time, and has opened up an investigation into the "lost" parcel. I've left it on order for the time being, but if i find another one elsewhere, then i'll cancel it.

so I'm on the phone with customer service, he just told me that my order never went through in the first place even though the money was taken from my account - and he told me my games I ordered separately which have not yet been collected by DPD will come to me on Tuesday so I told him to refund my next day delivery - for anyone who's orders have not been collected by dpd expect it on Tuesday - he tried to say my order timed out even though I ordered it straight away. im very annoyed this company is truly a piece of s***.

I think that being bank holiday weekend that the tracking might be affected by it a bit. Last year when I had DPD deliver something over Easter weekend, I had the same issues.

Hi, I had exactly the same issue, managed to get one ordered theough currys yesterday and paid for pre-12 delivery today. When I checked my DPD tracking it says they have received my order details but have not yet received my parcel. When I got in touch with DPD they said they havent received it to their depot yet. When I spoke to Currys they said that I need to contact DPD so ive been going in circles all day. The last person I spoke to at Currys said its because its put of stock! Even though my account said its already been despatched. Hoping its just a glitch in the matrix because of the bank holiday and hopefully will get some answers next week. If not will have to try and cancel my order with currys which will be a nightmare since you have to ring them to do that, spent over 2 and a half hours on hold to currys today and was not able to actually speak to anyone 😭

Oh man that is not good, and that is gonna be a massive ball ache if we all have to call to cancel. The fact they can’t give any straight answers is so frustrating!
