Please DO NOT rely on receiving an email or push notification alert to find you stock. We will send notifications on a case by case basis. It is pointless us sending thousands of notifications if a retailer only has a few units of stock which get snapped up almost immediately. Just leads to further frustration.

I think Amazon are releasing a little at a time and they are bought super quick (or by bots which is super frustrating!! Urggghh Sad Just don't give up - I don't know if Amazon are only letting one person by at a time - make sure you keep trying because lots of people are having luck and have to try all day adding to basket before they are successful. Over the past few days it looks like they available every 20-30 mins so kinda try to go by that but I think the notifications are slightly delayed on here so best to manually refresh Amazon for your best chance! Crossing my fingers for you! Also save you address deets or login in so you can check out faster, hopefully that will get through to checkout quicker xoxo 🤞 😊

How many times did you try? I've seen it twice today and every time I click it, it says empty basket. I keep trying to click it with same result until it disappears from the search list again 😭

If you get to that stage it's already too late, you need to be there as the stock arrives and even then I've been at the payment stage and an error has occurred. Have your billing address/payment details set as default so you can click through to purchase as quickly as possible. If it is in your basket it is not safe. If you click and it says your basket is empty you are too late and will have to try again when they release the next one. I got mine after many failed attempts by refreshing amazon manually

Just a ray of hope for some - after many attempts to get a switch with lots of failure from various retailers, by complete fluke I managed to get one on preorder from amazon on the 9th expected the 30th. Stupidly, I cancelled my amazon order after managing to order one from Curry’s on the 10th (which was later cancelled) but luckily pre-order I cancelled from amazon came back online shortly and I got it back with delivery date expected 30th. Kept getting emails that the delivery date would be earlier and earlier and it just arrived!! Just shows not only bots are managing to get them!! I hope everyone still trying to get one managed to get one very soon!

Wow so a ray of hope here, I have just managed to secure one with the page refresh method. I can't actually believe it! Man, you have to be SO lightening quick with it though. All I can say is keep trying, they seem to pop one on every 40 mins or so. Really can't believe it! 😵

Same! I was refreshing all day then went out to walk the dog, got back 19:54, so annoyed by these sellers snapping the switches up to scalp the public and make a fast buck, I hope no one buys their £450 switches and they get stuck with them.

people are getting them, myself included. i have mentioned in this feed before that maybe you can try refreshing the page on your own as sometimes i think that stock informer is a few seconds delayed. i have not yet received a cancellation email i hope it stays that way. good luck to you and everyone trying. it is possible i promise

I managed to place an order on the 11th by just constantly refreshing the page and then being really quick to put the purchase through - it originally said delivery on the 30th and then it got dispatched today and should be coming tomorrow

Demand is currently massive. Amazon are currently just releasing the odd unit or so at the moment (probably previous order cancellations). You are up against thousands of other people all after this odd unit or so. I'm afraid it's then going to take a bit of luck and persistence.

I think it depends on luck, we have been sitting for hours trying to get one, had the neon red/ blue pop up but couldn't even get it into our basket before it was gone. I think its just luck and your internet connection that dictates it. People are getting them though so just persevere. Smile

Managed to order 1 on 10th, was originally expected on 30th. Amazon dispatched it on 13th, and now scheduled for delivery on 14th (West Midlands). Good luck all!

i ordered on the 10th, they delivered yesterday - however all the box had was an echo dot and a power strip... i think someone stole mine at the warehouse! amazon refused to send a new one and all they are doing is refunding me.

Just got mine, it didn't even appear on the page I was in my basket and I just got ucky that it appeared as an item i previously had in my basket, it is possible guys we've been trying for days! Smile

Just some advice for anyone out there trying to get their hands on one, we had four windows open (two laptops) and we had a chrome auto refresher resetting the amazon pages every two seconds for each window, when one came on we were on it instantly clicking - using this method we've had four failed attempts (two times had it in the basket). Having got one I'd also reccommend having a page with your amazon basket open refreshing as if you've already managed to get it in ur basket it may appear as a suggested item there before others manage to get it in the listing (which is why we got one today).

Sit by your computer, have an auto refresher on, have your amazon set up so you can click and pay straight away and just be very patient, I got mine today after a while of failed attempts - you can get one Smile

If you use chrome you can get it as a chrome extension. All it does is automatically refresh a webpage for you so you don’t have to keep clicking. Don’t use one for this site as it already has one built in. But sit with amazon open on the Nintendo switch buying option page and use an auto refresher to keep the page updated whilst you sit and watch it. This way you are the first to see them restock within 2 seconds Smile This worked for me this morning.

I would recommend an auto refresher on amazon as stock checker isn't fast enough to get one before they sell out again - keep in mind only a few consoles are released each time. If you use this method you will get one eventually Smile
