I’m in almost exactly same position as a lot of people on here. Ordered mine at 5.55am on the 19th. Order went to order confirmed status soon after that and hasn’t changed since as far as I can tell. Reading on here I hope it’s true about the 15th otherwise it’s going to be an even more sucky Christmas.

Guys if your order has been stuck on confirmed since 19th ring and ask them to “exchange “ it for another ps5 as a lot of our orders got stuck.

No, some people’s (myself included) order got stuck in their system. If it’s been ok confirmed since the 19th yours is probably like mine. They have fixed it for me and a few others I know by putting it through on their system as “an exchange”. It like resets your order

I spoke to them just now. The person on the phone looked at my order and I've just had another date added to the list. Even though I told them that it's just 5 o clock orders that aren't recieving theirs. They were like no, there's no issue with the system. Apparently every single order "will" be released from the 15th and it's guaranteed delivery by the 18th. I don't think this is true, just a load of waffle.

Wow this is shambles. I ordered on the 19th and I received an email saying it got delayed and should be delivered by the 25th. But it's been stuck in order confirmed ever since. I honestly don't know if I should ring them up because they all say something different and last thing I want is my order being cancelled. Because I've heard it's harder getting a refund from them atm then a PS5

I should have learned to avoid Currys by now but this is definitely the last time I use them. I’ve just rung them again for an update on my order placed at 5.45am on 19th. After being told on Monday that there is no stock I was again told this. I asked how come people have been receiving their PS5’s this week then? She had no answer. I mentioned there seem to be quite a few who ordered before 6am who are in the same boat as me and again she couldn’t answer as to why. She did confirm that new stock is arriving 15th and assured me that my order will be prioritised when they come in. Despite that though she couldn’t guarantee I’ll receive it by Xmas! They’ll have had my £450 for over a month by the time I finally get my ps5.

Curry’s are awful, their fb page is just full of complaints. Apparently their click and collect is fine but delivery is awful.

Thanks for the update 👍🏼. Yes I noticed as well that it's all the 5 o clock orders that are in the same boat. I don't think they know what they're talking about, they're just saying anything to get us off their backs. I personally can't see my order coming before Christmas because they're lying to us they don't have the stock to fulfill our orders. And they just keep saying wait since they've robbed us of our money.

A well known UK flooring company failed to deliver our goods within 30 days after payment therefore breaching their contract. They didn't have a compensation policy bout after phoning every week, they gave about 10 pe cent back as a good will gesture. Hope you can get something back from Currys.

Just been on phone to Currys. My order has been on confirmed status since 19th (order made at 5.55am). The man confirmed the order was still in place and as soon as stock comes in I will get a tracking number. Hopefully this is the case. 🤞🏻 good luck to all those others with order confirmed.

*** Caution *** Just a quick heads-up to those who have received their PS5 , Currys are phoning people trying to get you to buy their extended warranty for the PS5. Trouble is they are congratulation you for being one of the lucky ones to secure a PS5 and asking how you found it so far, I had my phone on speakerphone next to my Son who the PS5 is for & they almost let the cat out of the bag. I was quick enough to grab my phone off the desk and take it off hands free as i twigged quite quickly . Just wanted to warn others as no doubt somebody has had their surprise ruined because of greedy aftersales. Chris

It's not really greedy after sales, it's actually a good policy. I've had a fridge and a TV replaced through it. And it's reasonably priced.
