  • Please DO NOT rely on receiving an email or push notification alert to find you stock. We will send notifications on a case by case basis. It is pointless us sending thousands of notifications if a retailer only has a few units of stock which get snapped up almost immediately. Just leads to further frustration.

Do they actually have stock? 5 just flashed up right near me - couldn't believe my luck. All my details were saved, but when I confirmed my order, out of stock message appeared. I know they go ridiculously fast, but that was insane!

I have the same problem one came up in sheffield today (my nearest store) but it was gone before I could add it to my basket. Hoping to get one for my sons birthday on the 21st, tried since release! I have seen others in Leeds on and off today Good luck

yeah i dont know who is managing the stock but from what ive seen its all been Leeds/Liverpool/Bristol. Shame theyre not stocking elsewhere.

Do Smyths put Xbox Series X Stock on first thing in morning or is it just random?

The stores update their stock once they get a delivery. So is random, but it’s Mostly added from 7am, then slows down after lunch. This is what it was like early December when they had quite a bit of stock being added daily.

You have to be super quick to get one. Make sure you have an account set up and card details saved. When you see any store with stock, add it to your basket so you have one in there. Then go into your basket and change the store to your local one. Keep this page open on the basket, open another and refresh the page for stock. When you see the store you want, don’t add it again, go into the basket and straight to checkout. I found this to be fastest option.

Good luck, hopefully they have stock again. If not it looks like Argos is building up a stock pile again. But last time they released it over night without notice. So you may have to have some afternoon naps and put in night shifts at some point

It can, when smyths had stock in December there was the odd one that would come up mid afternoon. But generally it was all in the mornings. I’ve seen on the game chat that game had stock again this afternoon

No one gets regular delivery’s unfortunately. My advise is read through the comments on here, Argos etc. You will pick up some good tips. There’s people on here that have been trying since launch to get one.
