My sister works in Argos she said it’s a ‘ghost order’ where it’s tried to process the order, taken the money but couldn’t finish processing it and will take up to 5 days to get my money back

I ordered mine via their website. Log into your account via their web page. I just checked and my order is there, but it's not on the app for some reason.

If they cannot fulfill your order, they should release your payment straight away (it can take a day for the banks to process and show back in your account).If they say 3 -5 days, ring them an go full Karen! They shouldn't be holding it for that long.

There is stock in certain stores if you are willing to travel - you need Argos app to view. Just shows out of stock on website

Gave up on attempting to get the Series X a few days ago and bought the Series S instead. Saw the alert for the Series X pop up on my phone earlier and managed to grab one! Fingers crossed the order doesn't get cancelled!

It didn't arrive. wemt to the store to check but got a long explanation about warehouse issues in basildon and kettering. They have extended my collection window (and delayed giving me a refund) by a week! Losing hope that it will appear!

Picked up mine today too. Confirmation said Sunday but got an email first thing to say it was available for collection. So relieved.

So 22/10 randomly checked Argos website and it had stock but only for collection - ordered and payed. Was told it would be in Store Tuesday morning but today I get my text saying ready to collect and bingo picked up no problem. The trick I used was having it in the trolley, logged in and randomly checking every couple of hours. Hope, people, you too get one soon.

Got mine on Sunday. I really recommend adding one to your basket and then just keep searching for local stock. I did the on and off for a few hours and had one cancel but the second one stuck. Collected same day. Just really keep your eyes out and you can get one.

Stock is definitely regional for this. None in Scotland, however seems to be stock in some London stores. Useful.

Was able to grab one in north London sainsburys store to collect next week. Put in basket and said out of stock when I went to check out. Refreshed the page and clicked checkout again, straight through. Going to have 2 very excited children on Christmas Day. Thank you stock informer.
